Independent Bank Joins with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to Offer Funds Toward a New Home Purchase

Independent Bank is excited to partner with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to offer qualified borrowers a $2,500 credit to use toward down payment and/or closing costs on the purchase of primary home. Qualified borrower(s) with income at or below 50% of the Area Median Income and obtaining a Freddie Mac Home Possible^® or Fannie Mae HomeReady^® loan qualify for consideration.

The programs are designed to provide access to affordable housing solutions by expanding access to credit responsibly and providing opportunities for sustainable homeownership for very low-income homebuyers.
