What accounts are eligible for the business referral program?

Eligible accounts include business checking accounts.

How do I receive a reward for a business account referral?

When you refer a business to Independent Bank, you will receive a $50 Mastercard Reward Card and the business will receive a $150 Mastercard Reward Card when they register, open a new Independent Bank business checking account AND complete the following within 60 calendar days of account opening:

15 debit card transactions (ATM transactions excluded) OR

Complete at least $1,000 in cumulative deposits

Rewards will be mailed to your address on file after the other business completes the required tasks.

Is there a limit to how many businesses I can refer?

You can earn up to $500 per year.

*You will receive a $50 Mastercard® Reward Card and your friend will each receive a $150 Mastercard® Reward Card when your friend registers, opens a new Independent Bank personal checking account, and either completes fifteen debit card transactions (ATM transactions excluded) or completes at least $1,000 in cumulative deposits within 60 calendar days of account opening. A $10 minimum deposit is required to open an account, and the new account is subject to standard account opening requirements. Rewards are subject to 1099-INT for the referred party and 1099-MISC for the referring party for aggregate awards totaling $600 annually.
