Jason Blain

Jason Blain is a First Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker at Independent Bank. In this role, Jason leads Independent Bank’s focus on community development lending and tax credit equity investments across the Bank’s footprint. Jason has spent the majority of his 17-year banking career focused on historic preservation and affordable housing developments throughout Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. Jason serves on the Preservation Incentives Committee for the Michigan Historic Preservation Network and is a graduate of Michigan State University (MBA) and Lake Superior State University (Finance and Economics).
