Independent Bank offers 3 high deductible health plans available to choose from; each are effective on first day of employment and can be combined with an HSA that allows you to pay for qualified out of pocket medical expenses on a pretax basis.

Independent Bank offers single and family coverage for various services including preventative and diagnostic, basic services, major services, and orthodontics.

 

Vision plan through VSP

Both full time and part time employees are eligible for vision benefits. Routine eye exams are important for maintaining good vision and can also provide early warning of other health conditions. The VSP vision plan provides coverage for exams, glasses and contact lenses. 

 

Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts

Employees may elect to have extra money set aside through the Flexible Reimbursement Plan to cover medical expenses and dependent care expenses. There are multiple types of FSA’s available to employees depending upon their needs.

 

Sick Time

Independent Bank offers all full time employees sick time to use each year. Unused Sick time accrued throughout the year will rollover and accumulate.

 

Voluntary Accident Insurance

Voluntary Accident Insurance is available to help pay for items not covered by traditional health insurance, including emergency room copays, surgeries, hospitalizations and doctor’s office visits related to an accident.
