4th largest Michigan-based bank is closing its doors on Columbus Day to volunteer in local communities
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Independent Bank will close its offices on Columbus Day, October 10, 2016, to participate in an all-employee volunteer day.
Independent Bank is referring to this volunteer day as “Making A Difference Day,” because each employee across Michigan will be voyaging out into their local communities to make a difference in a variety of ways. Departments had the opportunity to select from various organizations and non-profits to lend their time for the day. Teams of Independent Bank employees will be volunteering at the following organizations:
