Independent Bank will host a community Open House for its new Clinton Township branch at 21250 Hall Road, Suite 200, on October 28, 2024. The Grand Rapids-based bank has a Commercial Banking and Loan Center in Clinton Township and is expanding its local presence with the Hall Road location. During the event, Independent Bank also plans to honor Macomb County's Habitat for Humanity chapter with a $10,000 contribution.
Independent Bank’s donation will support critical projects through Habitat for Humanity’s general fund. This dontation is in addition to the $1,900 donated by the Bank on October 14, during their ninth annual “Be the Difference Day.” This is an event where over 800 Independent Bank employees volunteer at local non-profit organizations in their communities for the day, as well as donate funds to support their causes. Eight local Independent Bank team members elected to volunteer their day painting homes for Macomb County’s Habitat for Humanity this year.
“Our team truly believes in creating opportunities for people every day, and we are happy to be able to support our Macomb County neighbors in as many ways as we can,” said David Rozewski, SVP, Commercial Loan Group Manager at Independent Bank. “We have enjoyed getting to know and work alongside the Chamber of Commerce and partners like Habitat for Humanity over the years, and we are eager to build upon the personal relationships we have with every customer as we expand our presence in Macomb County.”
