Independent Bank was recognized by Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes during the JA West Michigan Business Hall of Fame event on October 23, 2023, at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. Independent Bank received the JA Spirit of Achievement award for their work and involvement in supporting youth in our communities.
The JA Spirit of Achievement Award was developed to recognize organizations that understand the importance of preparing and inspiring local youth to be successful in a global economy and who take that commitment seriously enough to incorporate it into their company values.
Independent Bank was honored to be recognized alongside other outstanding individuals and accomplished leaders in the local community. The Hall of Fame event brought distinguished leaders and JA students together, providing a critical learning opportunity for these students.
